The Domestic Portion of the USGS National and Global Assessment Project Website Has a New Look!

The Domestic Portion of the USGS National and Global Assessment Project Website Has a New Look!

The USGS National and Global Assessment Project website serving domestic petroleum resource assessments has a new look!  The overall appearance will be familiar to current users, but the upgrade includes several enhancements and new features and provides a framework for us to adapt quickly to future user needs.  Major enhancements include:

·         The primary navigation map on the main project page includes an option to select provinces via a drop down menu that corresponds to the resource type being viewed.

·         The province pages now allow the exploration of associated assessment units with an interactive map.  Assessment units are displayed according to their resource type and can be toggled on and off or clicked on to obtain more information.

·         The website has been modified for improved performance on smart phones and other mobile devices.

If you have any questions regarding changes to the application, please direct them to the Central Energy Resources Science Center Data Management Services Project at datamgt@usgs.gov.
